Brigitte Tabaroki

licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #143384

Hi, I’m Brigitte!

Brigitte (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), providing therapy to individuals and families. Brigitte carries curiosity and genuine consideration for the challenges her clients face. Her empathetic and non-judgmental nature allows clients to openly explore and advocate for their needs. Brigitte offers sessions in person and via Telehealth.

Brigitte’s lively spirit, encouragement, compassion, and creativity leads clients to express their authentic selves in the therapy room.

Brigitte believes that people deserve a space to speak freely, feel listened to, learn, and grow. She strives to create a positive therapeutic relationship in a safe and comfortable environment. Through her work, Brigitte hopes to help clients identify past and/or present experiences that may be limiting their growth and potential.

Brigitte spends her free time in nature — walks on the beach, picnics in the park, hikes, and viewing the sunset — with friends and family. She admires and deeply appreciates music, and is passionate about listening to all genres of music. She also loves learning about the relationship between nutrition and mental health; she understands the importance of the brain-gut connection and is always eager to discover healthy foods and recipes.

Experience:

the village family services, Los Angeles

As an associate, Brigitte worked at The Village Family Services. At The Village, her caseload mainly consisted of foster children and teens who have a history of involvement with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). At this site, Brigitte gained experience collaborating with social workers, attorneys, case managers, behavioral specialists, and parent partners to meet the needs of each client.

Partnerships to uplift communities, Los Angeles

Brigitte completed her traineeship at Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC) — a non-profit charter school organization. At PUC, Brigitte conducted individual, collateral, and family therapy with elementary-aged clients and their families. She received trainings in sand tray, music, and art therapy techniques to encourage creative forms of expression in the therapy room.
